Kiss My Keto
Kiss My Keto sells keto food and supplements online, from cookies and gummies to bread mixes and protein products. The client came to 2B Creative wanting a storefront that felt fast and modern while keeping Shopify as the engine behind orders, inventory and payments. We built the answer as a headless Shopify store. That means the shopping experience customers see is a separate front end we designed and coded, while Shopify continues to run the commerce side through its APIs. We built the front end on Gatsby and connected it to Shopify, then wired in the tracking and email tools the client relies on to understand sales and stay in touch with buyers.

In a standard Shopify store, the shopfront and the commerce back end are locked together in one theme. Going headless splits them apart. Shopify still handles the cart, checkout, stock and payments, but the pages customers browse are a separate application we control. That gives us far more freedom over layout, performance and how the site behaves.
We built that front end with Gatsby, a framework based on React. Gatsby pre-builds pages ahead of time rather than assembling them on each visit, so product and content pages can load quickly. For a shop where people browse across a lot of products before buying, quick, responsive pages matter for the experience and for sales.
To pull products, collections, pricing and cart data out of Shopify and into the Gatsby front end, we used Shopify's GraphQL APIs. GraphQL lets us request exactly the data a page needs in a single call, which keeps things efficient.
An online shop needs to know what is selling and why, and it needs a reliable way to stay in contact with customers. We integrated two tools to cover that.
Elevar handles conversion tracking and data. It captures what shoppers do on the site and passes clean, accurate data to the client's marketing and analytics platforms, which matters on a headless build where standard Shopify tracking does not apply automatically. Getting this right means the client can trust the numbers behind their advertising spend.
Klaviyo runs email and customer messaging. Connecting it to the store lets Kiss My Keto send order updates and targeted campaigns based on real shopping behaviour, such as reminding a customer about a cart they left behind. Together, these integrations give the client a store that not only looks and performs well but also feeds their marketing with usable data.
