MyArtBroker
Buying and selling prints by well-known artists has traditionally meant auctions or dealers, with prices and demand kept behind closed doors. MyArtBroker takes a different approach: a private brokerage that connects buyers and sellers directly, backed by real data on what each work is actually worth. At the centre of it is the Trading Floor, a live marketplace where collectors register their interest in specific prints and editions. MyArtBroker came to 2B to help build the platform. It's a Next.js application with content managed through Sanity and product analytics from PostHog, giving the team a clear view of how collectors use the site.

The Trading Floor is what makes MyArtBroker different from a gallery site. Rather than a fixed shop window, it's a live marketplace for prints and editions, where a collector can register interest in buying or selling a particular work and see how the market for it is moving. That means the platform has to present detailed, changing information about individual artists and prints in a way that stays clear and easy to act on.
We built the site on Next.js, which lets us serve fast pages and handle the interactive parts of the marketplace on the same foundation. For a platform where people are making real financial decisions, speed and reliability aren't cosmetic. The site needs to feel dependable when someone is weighing up a work worth a significant amount, and Next.js gives us a solid base to build that experience on.
A platform like this lives on its content: artist pages, print records, market write-ups and guidance for collectors. We used Sanity, a headless content management system, so MyArtBroker's team can create and update all of that themselves. Headless means the content is managed separately from how it is displayed, which gives the team freedom to keep pages current while the Next.js front end handles how everything looks.
To understand how collectors actually move through the site, we integrated PostHog, a product analytics tool. It shows the team how people navigate the Trading Floor and where they engage or drop off, so decisions about the platform are based on real behaviour rather than guesswork. For a marketplace built on trust and clarity, knowing how people genuinely use it is what lets MyArtBroker keep making it better.
